The media could not be loaded. At the time of this review, you can get this 1 L sports bottle for around £13 A lot of sports bottles these days look the same, very similar to every other bottle. I like the colours on this bottle, a little bit different. There’s not a lot of grip on the outside certainly no dents to make it easier to get hold of, but you do you have a little webbing strap, which, even when they’re not used as a strap it provide extra grip when you hold the bottle. It is quite a stretch to get your head around this 1ltr bottle to feel that you are gripping it securely. I’m always torn between a half a litre and a 1 L bottle, it all depends what I’m doing, for me a half litre is easier and more comfortable to carry around, as it gets towards the summer, I will appreciate the great capacity of this bigger bottle. I have moved away from those bottles with the straws down the middle, albeit a lot of bottles of the style now come with a little cleaning brush to get any Debris out of the straw, I find I don’t actually like having to suck the water out of the bottle, certainly not when I’m doing any exercise, it interrupts my breathing too much, I prefer the style where I can just tip it up. I’ve tested this bottle and it doesn’t leak or dribble. The only thing that’s missing from this bottle, that is on my smaller bottle of the identical style, is a little flip over plastic catch beside the press open button. Only once, my smaller button fell over on the car seat and the contents leaked out, luckily it was only water, from then on, I flip the little plastic catch over and it locks the bottle shut. Certainly if the bottle goes in a gym bag I would want to lock it. I don’t know why they decided not to put one on this bottle but it lost a star from me.
